Paul was motivated to motivate. A sinner saved by God’s grace appealed to sinners saved by God’s grace to come to their senses, turn from the false “super apostles”, and consider again the beauty of God’s bountiful blessings found in faithful obedience.

Paul warns the church to prepare themselves and examine themselves. The same is true for us today. Are we prepared, if the Lord Himself should return at any moment? Have we examined our lives in light of God’s revealed Word (and Will), to see if we are in the “faith”?
