Our Mission:
It is our mission to love God completely and love others compassionately while fulfilling the Great Commission.
Matthew 22: 37-39 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 28: 19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
HBC accomplishes its mission through:
Expository Preaching –Relevant messages from the Bible challenging the lost to know Jesus and the Christian to grow in their faith.
Depth of Discipleship –Instilling Biblical knowledge and application through personal mentoring, Sunday Growth Groups on Sunday mornings and Discipleship Groups throughout the week to grow in our knowledge, understanding of and love for God and others.
Mission Minded –Sending, supporting and equipping every HBC member as well as vocational missionaries to go to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the World.
Service Oriented – Encouraging and equipping all members of HBC to utilize their spiritual gifts to grow in committed love and service for the local church body.
Intentional Multi-generational Integration – For every member of HBC no matter their age to promote unity in message, belief, practice, and fellowship.
Faith Community –For every member of HBC’s body as well as those in our neighborhoods; activities are planned with the purposes of growing in our love for God, for one another, and going to reach the lost in our community.
