The Body of Christ serves as the hands and feet, the heart and soul of Jesus Christ on earth as it ministers on His behalf, for His glory, and for our ultimate good. When the Body functions as it is supposed to… it is then that the members harmoniously and joyously pursue Christ in community and make the Good News of forgiveness in Christ known to a hostile world empty because of its vain pursuits.

Love is the glue the binds the body, the blood that gives life, and the tie that binds all believers for an effective ministry to the world. It isn’t a love that the world can offer… only a love that God supplies and infuses in His followers. The love of God is one that is sacrificial, selfless, unconditional, and supernatural.
