Advent is upon us! Though we are not liturgical, there is no reason we cannot look back in wonder and awe at Christ’s first coming and look ahead in anticipation of His Second Coming, His Second Advent.

This third week, we consider the account from the Gospel of Matthew regarding “wise men from the East” who were led by a supernatural, God-given celestial light to the Christ-Child sometime after His birth in Bethlehem. It was at the end of their journey that they realized their journey–one of utmost joy and celebration–had only just begun.
