God does not give bad gifts. Ever.

But, with every gift, there are parameters in which the recipient can enjoy and benefit from the gift. The Church in Corinth was abusing the Spiritual Gifts, the sanctity of marriage, and God’s gift of sexual intimacy… but, most importantly, they were abusing the good gift of God’s love.

What does the Bible have to say about celibacy? What does the Bible say about sexual intimacy within the confines of marriage? What is the widow or divorced to do if they have a passion and desire that just cannot be controlled?

Chapter 7 of First Corinthians speaks on these… and many other issues facing the Church, then and now.
