Oftentimes, the Bible is accused of being “outdated” or “irrelevant.” Nevertheless, the Bible speaks on every issue we could ever face in this life and prepares us for the life to come.

Paul continues his teaching on marriage and divorce, roles and responsibilities, and love and respect. When we look at marriage and singleness as a calling from God, it changes our perspective. Both are equally respectable and sanctifying.

What happens, though, if you come to saving knowledge of Christ and your spouse doesn’t? What happens if your spouse wants to leave you? Does God sanction the separation?
