A Repeated Appeal Leading to a Positive Response
August 24, 2025

A Repeated Appeal Leading to a Positive Response

Preacher: Jason Gentry
Series: IDENTITY: Power Through Weakness
Passage: 2 Corinthians 7:1-16
Service Type: Sunday Morning

Repentance. What is it? Are there false forms? How do you know if you have “truly” repented…

Paul restates his appeal, one more time, to a church he loved and was turning its back on him (and, ultimately, Jesus Christ). What is one to do when attempt after attempt after attempt goes without change or response?

We see the power of grace in the face of human weakness this week as we explore restored relationships and how the strain is so very small in light of the satisfaction that comes from deep and intimate connections in Christ.
