The Mission, Expectations, Qualifications, Considerations of

Hallsville Baptist Church in the Search of a Pastor of Family & Students

Church / Community Profile: The mission of Hallsville Baptist Church (HBC) is to love God completely and love others compassionately while fulfilling the Great Commission. We are a pastor-led, congregationally-governed, deacon-served church that ministers in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention and other local churches.  Hallsville, MO is a small (under 1500 people), but rapidly growing rural community 20 minutes north of Columbia, MO.  HBC is a multigenerational church with a loving, family atmosphere.  Its members seek to grow spiritually both individually as well as together through weekly Bible study and Sunday school groups.  Its members are enthusiastic to serve and to minister to one another and the local community.  HBC serves as the host site for the Hallsville Food Pantry in coordination with The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri on a monthly basis as part of the Hallsville Inter-Church Council; and the church hosts regular church-wide fellowships to forge and strengthen relationships.  HBC is also mission-minded – striving to share the Gospel with and serve our neighbors in Hallsville as well as partner with Christian brothers and sisters across the region and world (Acts 1:8).
