How is the Christian to survive, let alone thrive, in an age where apostasy, darkness, and all sorts of evil seem to reign?

Not only does God call us to thrive, He calls us to influence the world around us. Compromise and caving in are not options because we are dealing with eternal matters. It is a battle. The soldier of the Cross of Christ must be forewarned, prepared, and ready to fight the good fight of faith.

It is worth it. In 2 Timothy 3:1-17, Paul gives his “son in the faith” Timothy a charge to recognize and ready himself for a battle of the ages.

Too often, Christians give up and check out…leaving the responsibilities (and rewards) to another. It is time to dust off the boots and clean up the armor and be the people God, by His grace, is making us and has empowered us to be.
