Transparency in Ministry
Handling money comes with a certain sense of prudence and propriety.
Paul wanted to ensure the church would not even think of him or anyone on the missionary team as “skimming from the top” or personally profitting from others’ generosity.
The need for transparency is both wise and a safeguard from any credible accusation or considerable hesitation to participate in God’s gracious work.
Too often, abuse leads many to have a “skewed” view of ministry the way God has always intended it to be. From leader to layperson alike, we are called to transparency and tangible accountability.
The Gospel work is too important to have any roadblocks, distractions, or division pop up… Come and worship with us as we explore ministering in the way and will of God.
