The Futility of Self-Indulgence
The author of Ecclesiastes shares with us the result of a life having tasted all of the earthly pleasures and trekked down the path of all earthly possibilities… and was still left empty. Though some satisfaction with his endeavors did come, it did not last. Though some enjoyment in life and rich experiences did come, it quickly faded.
How are we to make anything out of this life if every experience and every pleasure leaves us “high and dry?”
To make meaning of life–and all of its experiences–we must put on the eternal lens. Come worship with us and continue the journey through Ecclesiastes.
