There were “super” apostles–phonies–going around the church and community with their “letters of recommendation,” seemingly verifying their integrity and authority. Paul, not one to boast in self, told the church his letter was not man-originated but was evidenced in the transformed people in Corinth and beyond.

The transformed and abundant life available to all believers and experienced by the ones totally surrendered and yielded to the Holy Spirit is a very powerful witness to a world not apt to read the four Gospels found in the Bible.
