God opened a door for Paul and he took it.

Because Paul was a surrendered servant, he because a fragrant, pleasing aroma to God and those being saved. To those rejecting God’s Good News, he because an aroma of death as their consciences and hearts hardened.

Our responsibility is not in the response, but in the life of obedience and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
