As we continue through Second Corinthians, we explore this week a change of plans by Paul in visiting the church in Corinth. Sometimes there are reasons unknown for why people do what they do… often, we jump to conclusions or even question sincerity and integrity. However, with Paul, it was because of his integrity and the integrity of the Gospel message he preached that he changed his plans in visiting this church that gravitated towards the latest personality and fad preacher.

If you find yourself gravitating to and fro in the Christian life, would you consider the boring, the plain, the simple versus the “latest” and “greatest.” It is all in a mindset. What God wants and the person God uses is those who stick to the basics… grace, love, obedience… INTEGRITY. The building will crumble and the ship will sink in life and all things when integrity suffers… Come consider the God of all grace and mercy, again, as we trek through 2 Corinthians.
