Many want the blessing of God without any consideration of God’s call to know Him and obey. It is like hating the Giver of the gift and wanting Him just for the good things He has. It is true that God’s grace is unmerited, unmeasured, and unearned. It is also true that the depth of experience of God’s grace is directly proportional to the depth of devotion and obedience to God’s high and holy calling in Christ Jesus.
